STEP 1
Prescription Creation & Signing
- The doctor creates the prescription directly inside the EMR.
- It is digitally signed ensuring authenticity and compliance with DR-107 and MOH requirements.
- Each prescription is then encrypted, secured, and stored in the Formidable eRX cloud.
STEP 2
Secure Storage & Access
- Prescriptions remain securely stored within Formidable's private network until a pharmacy requests them.
- Each prescription is immutable, digitally signed, and auditable.
STEP 3
Pharmacy Retrieval
- When a patient arrives at a pharmacy, the system simply checks for any valid prescriptions associated with that patient.
- Formidable returns a grouped list of prescriptions ready to be dispensed.
STEP 4
Verification & Dispensing
- The pharmacy verifies the digital signature and prescriber authorization automatically through the Formidable API.
- Once validated, the pharmacist dispenses the medication.
- Dispense status is securely logged back to Formidable, maintaining a complete, timestamped audit trail.
STEP 5
Reporting & Compliance
- Dispensing data is stored and auditable, enabling analytics on fill rates, cancellations, and compliance.
- Authorized hospitals, EMRs, and regulators can view reports or integrate via API.
